FRANCE - WESTERN MEDITERRANEAN SIDE

The best of the French Riviera, between Nice and Cannes. Luxury watches, Hotels for the stars going to Cannes, and an old town enclosed by 16th-century ramparts with the star-shaped Fort Carré.

A major wine region, Bandol, was founded in 1595 around a military fort.

The largest of three islands off the mainland in the Îles d’Hyères, Var, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur. Porquerolles is a short 10-minutes boat ride away from the coast. The crescent-shaped island nestles a charming village in its centre. Find restaurants and bike rentals as the best way to discover Porquerolles is cycling or hiking on marked trails of the National Park.

A fishing port near the Spanish border on the Côte Vermeille in south west France on the Mediterranean.  The castle at “Castrum Caucoliberi” is mentioned as far back as 673.

Port city with shingle coves and say beaches. A ferry leaves from this port to go to Ajaccio, Corsica.

So good they named it twice, Villefranche, France is next to Nice and is where the Alpes meet the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.
