Fred. Olsen ships are more personal, classic ships. While they are considering new ships on the drawing board they are definite that the image will be continued. On these ships, you will soon get to know the crew and your fellow guests and feel right at home, which is why we encourage you to join the communities and stay in touch. Please help us share your pictures of these ships on the chat site, and even here.
Click on a ship’s banner below to see the films available or find your ship wherever it is on the globe. Ship locator is fun. You can even use a button above the posts to refine your search. Click Jean to see just Jean’s blogs, click Ship Tours just to see the filmed tours of the ships. If you have a great tour, tell us, we will include it. Become one of our presenters.

DRESS CODE: Evening wear is simple on a Fred. Olsen cruise; most evenings are Smart Casual with a Formal Night or two providing the chance to dress up. And just to add some fun to the cruise, there may also be some optional Theme Nights on longer sailings. Cruises of six nights or longer will have at least one Formal Evening – Most men opt to wear either a dinner jacket, or a dark suit and tie. Ladies are often seen looking fabulous in anything from a cocktail-style dress to a full-length ball gown or evening suit. Fred Olsen current webpage explanation DRESS CODE PAGE
SMOKING: Fred. Olsen operates a strict ‘no-smoking’ policy in all inside areas. Smoking will only be permitted on cabin balconies excluding Terrace Balconies, this is a policy that causes some travellers to consider other cruise lines where the next cabin cannot do this.
