There is an endless list of jobs done at sea
This section about working at sea has been asked for over and over again so it is back.
We are not agents; we cannot help you other than the advice and links here.
Our chat sites are passenger chat sites, not crew sites.
There is a shortage of crew at sea and has been since COVID.
Some of our moderators are guest staff, which means they are guests who go and perform on a ship, some, used to work on a ship and now travel as a passenger, like Gemma Bethel who now has four children.
If you are after a free holiday, then that might not be the best reason to be thinking of working at sea.
There are many jobs, many areas of work, none of them easy, the rules are strict, and the expectations are high. The last thing any ship likes is guests complaining, and they can.
Below are some tips and sometimes links to agents. We are not agents; we are retired, and we cruise!
As you read on, here is a thought. Each job is a cabin. When you have finished your term, the cabin will be filled by the person doing your job. There is a cabin for the Guest Speaker, and a cabin for the Cabaret Act, as there is for the Compliance Officer.
