The Mediterranean Season presents us with our largest and most exciting no-fly summer season. Italy almost always features in it, and it offers such a selection of interests from art to ruins, from beaches to Venice.

Italy’s capital is Rome. It is the home to the Vatican which is not part of Italy. There, and in other areas, there are ancient ruins. Florence is famous for Renaissance masterpieces such as Michelangelo’s “David” and Brunelleschi’s Duomo. Pisa is leaning, and Venice is a city of canals and waterways.
