Close to Split, the area has a wealth of medieval and Roman history to be seen as well as the romantic walks and beautifully lit alfresco restaurants should you get an evening in the region. A full-day tour will see Trogir, Split, the Roman City of Salona, and Klis Fortress. There is also a national park, the Blue Lagoon and rafting that will be offered. We did Split long before we started filming video guides, but we will no doubt be back.
Looking at the locally offered attractions and tours is the first thing a movie location scout will do to research a place.
