An Evening in Venice

It is not often cruisers get to have an evening anywhere, so this is a treat and happened on Aurora R717. Many ships that visit Venice will leave in the evening because the lit buildings, the lit boats and yachts and the reflections on the water of the Grand Canal are quite something special. The late leave is also because you are probably not going far. It is likely that Zadar in Croatia is your next stop followed by Dubrovnik the day after.

So it is off to the Beach House for a meal on deck to watch the last of Venice fade away, then down to see one of the best entertainers on the cruise circuit, Maurice Grumbleweed.
